What an awesome little clock. I have always liked the nixie tubes just not the price. Ordered this to see what it was like. I’m really impressed, seems very well built and aside from the app being a little clunky it’s brilliant. I wasn’t a fan of the metal base so I made myself a nice wood cover for it. Software works fine on iOS and lets you configure community based ‘watchfaces’, and you can create your own. Backlight selectable and can be disabled.
3 ‘real’ clocks can be uploaded and stored in the clock itself, selectable by a single button.
Device is ESP32 based. Very basic webinterface accessible.
Custom firmware should be possible.

the clock is honestly very well made, but the software part on it is poor. Unfortunately, i was only able to get it to connect to wifi just 1 time and i decided to reset it since i didnt like the backgrounds i added and after that it wont connect to wifi at all. tried for hours with no luck. so unfortunately it just shows time and cant show the weather part which is what i was excited for.

I’ve always wanted a nixie clock but they’re too expensive, this is a nice compromise and from a distance you can’t really tell it’s not an actual nixie. My only negative is that it’s difficult to switch and from to the images. I had to reset the device in order to have it stop displaying the cards.

It’s ok, for the price i can’t really complain. the build quality and box were fantastic. Worth the price more so than the $80+ ones available on other sites. The quality of the LCD screens are ok. when they’re on you can clearly see the square of the screen even if they’re blacl.
My biggest isssues are with the app that you need to download of you want to change any of the settings. It seems very basic but some of the choices seem odd. Took some time to figure out what options did what. The options that you have to customize are actually pretty great, a good mix of user made displays and official ones.
If it ever goes on a cheaper sale, something like $30 or less i would recommend it.
